Each app is under intensive development. Not all features for each app are yet implemented, and feedback from users is important. The table below helps to understand what is already implemented in broad terms and what isn't. Development priorities through March 2026
The majority of apps now have basic functionality in place. At this stage, our primary focus is ensuring they work reliably in local/offline mode, refining the user experience for daily use, and gathering feedback from early adopters.
Once an app proves stable and intuitive locally, we extend its capabilities to enable external access, allowing other users to visit, enjoy, and interact with your content from the internet.
Current priority: Chat. The chat application needs more polish and reliability improvements. Device-to-device messaging works as intended, but it's not always consistent and still lacks features like moderation tools.
We acknowledge that detailed documentation is still limited here. Going forward, updates and information will be shared directly through the Geogram platform itself. We believe in eating our own dog food: by using Geogram daily, we experience firsthand what needs improvement and can iterate faster on the things that matter most.
